Norwich Arts Center

Important Notice to NAC Patrons

The NAC Gallery will be undergoing MAJOR renovations through March—but the Donald L. Oat Theater remains open! We will announce a grand re-opening of the gallery as soon as we have a better idea of construction timelines. Meanwhile, click here for the 2024 Gallery Schedule. Calls for Entries will be available as we get them typed up!

So keep creating!

Welcome to the Norwich Arts Center!

The Norwich Arts Center (NAC) was formed originally as the Norwich Arts Council in 1987 by a group of local artists and arts-lovers who were inspired by the region’s cultural possibilities. Our mission is to provide affordable programming in a variety of arts that reflects the area’s rich diversity and deepens arts appreciation.

NAC is an all-volunteer run, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization located in a historic building at 60-64 Broadway in downtown Norwich CT. We have two galleries on the first floor, offices on the second floor, and the 100-seat Donald L. Oat Theater on the third floor.

Look at our Event Page for a list of upcoming events. If you'd like to purchase tickets, book a performance, rent our theater or gallery or are just looking for general information, you can contact us at 860-887-2789 or email us at administration@norwicharts.org

It takes many hands and significant funds to run our programs and care for our facility. We thank and acknowledge the generous contributions of our Board, volunteers, members, artists and performers, Friends of NAC, sponsors, granting organizations and community supporters. To say we couldn’t do it without them couldn’t be more obvious.

We welcome your support, whether through membership, financial gifting and sponsorships, volunteerism, or serving on a committee. The committees, comprised entirely of volunteers, include:

Membership
NAC Artists’ Cooperative

Finance and Strategic Planning
Programming
Publicity/Marketing
