LS CENTERSTAGE PRODUCTIONS presents

"The Taffetas" 

 

This musical meander through the fabulous 50's, featuring an all-girl quartet, opened at New York's 

Cherry Lane Theatre in 1989, and has gone on to become an inconspicuous favorite across 

the country. More than a musical review, "The Taffetas" is a story of four singing sisters from Muncie,

Indiana, looking for their "big break" on a televised 1954 musical variety show. This cute-as-a-button 

musical, complete with period commercials, includes 30 fabulous 50's hits like Mr. Sandman, Where 

The Boys Are, and Old Cape Cod.

A TRIBUTE TO JUDY GARLAND starring Phred Mileski

NAC Annual Gala - Champagne Reception, Gourmet Dinner with Wine

        

Gifted, classically-trained New London soprano, Phred Mileski, dazzlingly costumed and 

accompanied by  Nathan Bayreuther (piano) and Jesse Charland (bass), performs an evening of Judy Garland's 

most memorable songs. You won't want to miss this unique event, which will include a silent

auction of art work, vacation opportunities, and more!

Event Sponsors include the MASHANTUCKET PEQUOT TRIBAL NATION and CREATIVE ENCLOSURES.

Tickets are $100, with all funds going to support The NAC's expanded programming, including the NACKids

NOVEMBER

 

NAC Theater presents

"ANNIE GET YOUR GUN" by Herbert and Dorothy Fields, Music/Lyrics by Irving Berlin (1888-1989)

Directed by Peter Marcus

Musical Director 

 

Written for Ethel Merman (1946), the play was the third longest running musical on Broadway in the 

Annie centers around Buffalo Bill's Wild West Show and the love story between two incomparable 

sharpshooters, Annie Oakley and Frank Butler.

Thursday through Sunday, November 11-4, and Thursday through Saturday, November 18-20

NAC Theater presents

"A Christmas Carol" by Charles Dickens

Interpreted and Performed by DAVID GANT

 

The NAC offers a remarkable take on Charles Dickens' classic Holiday tale. DAVID GANT

performs "A Christmas Carol" as a virtual one-person show, assuming 17 different

characters in what can only be described as first rate entertainment.

A beautiful work about two lost souls and a chance encounter under the full moon, Eugene

O'Neill's last play (1943) is a warm, wise and infectious blend of comedy, tragedy,

autobiography and imagination. "Moon" is hailed as O'Neill's most honest, immediate,

comic and lyric play. Winner of the Nobel Prize for Literature, Eugene O'Neill is one of

this nation's greatest playwrights.
